Fifty Shades Bookmark

Hello My Friends!

Here is My last post for 2012 on Anyone For Anya. It is a simple bookmark but I was happy to make it. My Daughter is always reading so I gave it to her. I really hope the inks don't transfer to her pages, lol. I started reading these books to see what all the fuss was about and OMG! I won't give anything away though, lol.

What's in the box?

You'll just have to wait and see. Ten more days and I still don't have a tree, so sad. Maybe next year. This week at Anyone For Anya we have Sketch to play with. I had to make this one really simple and it still looks a little loud for my taste. This adorable image from C.C. Designs is Sweet November Chrissy. She is just too cute to pass up.

Ornamental Elf

Hey There Friends!

So sorry I forget to finish my post sometimes and that has to be the only bad thing about working ahead. I fell in love with this photo challenge. Isn't the photo just gorgeous? I have these Christmas ornaments stamps from Verve and they are so much fun to work with. I thought they meshed well with the My Mind's Eye DP. 

Well, I noticed a big drop in participation over at Anyone For Anya and I'm surprised. They give out some really great prizes. It does better your chances of winning the less contestants there is, just saying. I do hope you will head over and join in the challenges.

Fairy Kisses

Hey There All!

Here I am with another card for the Anyone for Anya DT post. I am sharing a card with the images I purchased from Pam @ Expressions With A Heart. I adore these cuties! I wanted to add all of them but, maybe next time. My Daughter Sadie has an upcoming Birthday and thought I would make her a few cards this year. I know she'll Love it.

I die cut the border and rubbed some glue on it, then sprinkled some glitter on it.I pulled out my C.C. Cutter and used it on felt to make my center flower. I used a Doo Hicky Die for the two side flowers and then threaded threw them. I saw the idea on Eva's Blog. It just adds that certain something and I like it.

This week at AFA it's sketch time again. I do hope you will come and play along with us.

Are You enjoying your weather these days? Here in Sunny California we are still experiencing 80 degree days. So weird.

Waiting For The Cool Down

Here we are in October with 102 degree weather. Oh Mother Nature, when will you show us your awesome fall colors and cooler weather?

I know I probable sound crazy but, I hate summer weather. I did lose a couple of pounds because it's been so hot but that doesn't change my mind, lol. I would Love to be cold and have the embrase of my Hubby to keep me warm rather than cringe at the thought of a sweaty arm around me. So Please cold weather get here soon;).

Today I have made a card for my Anyone For Anya DT inspiration. I is a simple one because the Challenge is to use *No Embellishments* this week. How cool is that? I used *Pumpkin Emma*  because she is simply marvelous with her little red wagon. You know as a child I always wanted a wagon and even now, as an adult I still want one! I think I should say something to my Hubby about it, lol. Am I too old for one? What would I use it for? I'm sure I'll think of something.

How is your weekend going! I am have such a slow day. Feeling very tired and losing my mojo. I think I really need to treat my self to a craft supply haul, lol. That always seems to fix everything :).

Here is a treat holder that is so easy to make. I found the tutorial on youtube and had to do this. It was perfect for the challenge, only I hadn't bought any candy to include, lol. Next one will have some sort of treat.

SKETCH TIME @ AFA

Hello Everyone!

Here we are with another sketch and this is honestly the easiest sketch to work with ever. So I can't wait to see what you come up with.

I used some open card stock that I purchased over a year ago. I stopped in to a little craft shop one day and to my surprise they were having a huge indoor yard sale. I found so many wonderful supplies all for just under a dollar. The image is a PARTY TIME LUCY from C.C. Designs at ALL THAT SCRAPS. I am loving the creamy orange I used on her outfit. It's probably because I love fall colors and that is what this reminds me of. I cant wait for that wonderful weather and all the different shades of falling leaves.

Hello Blog Land Buddies!

How is everyone this fine Sunday Mourning? I am  just resting up for tomorrows early mourning. My Hubby got a call to go back to Construction. I guess it's finally picking up again. I am so excited for him and us. We just might be able to get back to where we were before.

Well as for my card, I won this image in a blog candy give away at Nat's and I have never used it,lol. He really is adorable but, I never had the right dp for it. I had to make due with what I had and I think it worked out okay. What do you think of my ribbon lightening bolt? I had no embellishments for it either as you can plainly see,lol. This is motivation to find something for him.
