I almost forgot to share this with all of you. I made it for the More Than Words FB Mini Challenge. I used some of the Finnabair Clear Gesso I ordered and OMG!! I love the effects it gives your projects. I first laid down a coat of the gesso to prime my page, then I stamped the sentiment down the center. I pulled out a stencil and again used the clear Gesso. Using the heat tool I dried the design, then used some Lindy's Mists for a hint of color. The sentiment is from TAC (old set), the flower is Peetaloo and the leaves are C.C.Designs Die cuts.

Sweet Journal

Just dropping in to share another Journal but, I think this one is so sweet. I had trouble putting it down because I felt as though it really needed an image. I paper pieced her but, I decided to clip her wings and creat antennas from flower stems. I think she looks adorable. The paper collection is Prima's Coffee Break.

Hello Friends

I really didn't I'd be back so soon but here I am, lol. How is your weekend treating you? Well, Ican say mine is going okay only because, I had time to create. Today a card is what I came up with. I spent all of thursday night sorting threw my flower stash to see what I had left. Surprizinly enough, I was able to fill 2 baskets with filler flowers. I was going to place an order with I Am Roses tonight but now I think I'll go with 49& Market. I just have to figure out who carries it, Lol.

Well, I'm off to get something done or get the heck outta here, hehehe.

Hello Friends

Here we are  speeding through another Friday. I was so looking forward to going fishing with the family but, the Hubby has work tomorrow. Now I'm stuck at home cleaning and maybe doing some grocery shopping, blaaahhh....

Well, I did realize that my last post failed until today, lol. I think I fixed it and I now have a new project to share. I was inspired by Marta to pull out my stash of Butterfly images and get to working in my Art Journal. This time I created a spread. I used some soft cool colors, something I rarely do, lol.

I tried a bit of water coloring using Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays. I'm just glad it is mixed media because, the flowers all look so different. The stamps used are Tim Holtz and the stencils are totally random from my stash. I hope you enjoyed your visit. Enjoy your weekend and we'll see you next week.

Friend & Circles More Than Words Challenge

Hello Friends!

I know it has been a long while since my last post but, I really needed some time off. I lost my mojo for about a year and I hadn't realized that it had even been so long. I just hope you are all doing well and in good spirits.

More Than Words Challenge

This months Challenge is Friends & Circles. Pretty easy to and with my New Prima You&Me Collection stash I managed to put this together in a day. I used the Bubble stencil with Heavy Gesso, a little Lindy's Flat Fabio and Tattered Angels Mist for depth and Prima Dies as accents. The vine is what I like the most. It is from Prima but, the flowers that were attached just didn't suit my page so, I removed them and added New Prima Flowers.

Here is a Wall Hanging I made for my room. I found this 15x15 Canvas for $2 and had to create something special with it. The photo was taken about 6 years ago at Carmel Beach California. I didn't really need my thinking cap for this, just a lot of time, lol. I do hope you all like it and will leave some feedback.

Here we are with a new challenge for you to partake. I do hope you will show us your favorite background technique as this would be my favorite thing to do. Mixing up colors and using stencils of all kinds.

I used a photo of myself that I'm not so fond of now that I look at it, lol. I do how ever love my background design. I used some of Lindy's Mists and Prima stencils as well as Prima clear stamps. My flowers are all IAR and the clock cut out are from Bo Bunny. I really hope to get some feed back on this. Thanks for Dropping By!

Hope you enjoyed your Christmas and New Year. I am really glad it is all over. Now I can finally get back to crafting and hanging out with my Grand Babies. My Grand Daughter Izzabella ended up in the hospital for a total of 10 days. I am so happy to say, she is home felling better. I made this for her after she fell in love with the image.
