Sweet Journal

Just dropping in to share another Journal but, I think this one is so sweet. I had trouble putting it down because I felt as though it really needed an image. I paper pieced her but, I decided to clip her wings and creat antennas from flower stems. I think she looks adorable. The paper collection is Prima's Coffee Break.

I really didn't I'd be back so soon but here I am, lol. How is your weekend treating you? Well, Ican say mine is going okay only because, I had time to create. Today a card is what I came up with. I spent all of thursday night sorting threw my flower stash to see what I had left. Surprizinly enough, I was able to fill 2 baskets with filler flowers. I was going to place an order with I Am Roses tonight but now I think I'll go with 49& Market. I just have to figure out who carries it, Lol.

Well, I'm off to get something done or get the heck outta here, hehehe.

Hello Friends

Here we are  speeding through another Friday. I was so looking forward to going fishing with the family but, the Hubby has work tomorrow. Now I'm stuck at home cleaning and maybe doing some grocery shopping, blaaahhh....

Well, I did realize that my last post failed until today, lol. I think I fixed it and I now have a new project to share. I was inspired by Marta to pull out my stash of Butterfly images and get to working in my Art Journal. This time I created a spread. I used some soft cool colors, something I rarely do, lol.

I tried a bit of water coloring using Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays. I'm just glad it is mixed media because, the flowers all look so different. The stamps used are Tim Holtz and the stencils are totally random from my stash. I hope you enjoyed your visit. Enjoy your weekend and we'll see you next week.

Art Journal in Blue❤️

I wanted to drop in before my busy weekend to share an Art Journal that I created. I am so in love with this shade of blue. I loved it so much that I sprayed my white Prima flowers with it, lol. I am in search of more solid black and white journals. Hoping to hit a couple of craft shops tonight.

Rustic Mixed Media Monthly Challenge #28

Hello Friends 

So glad to be back with a new project to share with you. I found another site to play along with and I am so excited! I Loved visiting the Design Teams Blogs and all their gorgeous designs. Maybe you can find some inspiration here too.

Today I have created an Art Journal to keep on my desk. I got the idea to create a Rustic Design from

MIXED MEDIA MONTHLY CHALLENGE

The Mood Board I used belonged to 

CLARE

I just loved the beautiful rich colors and textures.

I pulled out my Bobunny paper pad, gesso, tree stencil, Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays and plenty of Prima & Petaloo Flowers. I also used a feather that my Son gave me over the weekend while we were out fishing. I just cleaned it up and sprayed it blue. If only I could show you all the shimmer.

I did get a little carried away and added a ton of art beads which I ended up covering up with flowers, lol. Then I pulled out the fake snow and spread a little around the edges.
