Hello Friends

How are we all doing? I've been doing great! Just home trying to get my crafty spce ready and organized for the new year and all the upcoming challenges out there. 

I have bben wanting to join the More Than Words Challenge but, I have felt so intimidated by all the gorgeous projects and feel, I fail in comparison. Well it's time to put on my big girl panties and jump right in :). 

I have created a Christmas layout with an older image of my babies. For the sentiment Traditions, I had the stamp in a set I bought many many moons ago and has since shut down. It is tradition to take phots of all the children with fun backgrounds at home.  The handmade embellishments are the 2 tags on the left side of my page and the poinsettias.

I must get my project in sooo, I will be back soon.

Sweet Journal

Just dropping in to share another Journal but, I think this one is so sweet. I had trouble putting it down because I felt as though it really needed an image. I paper pieced her but, I decided to clip her wings and creat antennas from flower stems. I think she looks adorable. The paper collection is Prima's Coffee Break.

Hello Friends

I really didn't I'd be back so soon but here I am, lol. How is your weekend treating you? Well, Ican say mine is going okay only because, I had time to create. Today a card is what I came up with. I spent all of thursday night sorting threw my flower stash to see what I had left. Surprizinly enough, I was able to fill 2 baskets with filler flowers. I was going to place an order with I Am Roses tonight but now I think I'll go with 49& Market. I just have to figure out who carries it, Lol.

Well, I'm off to get something done or get the heck outta here, hehehe.

Art Journal in Blue❤️

I wanted to drop in before my busy weekend to share an Art Journal that I created. I am so in love with this shade of blue. I loved it so much that I sprayed my white Prima flowers with it, lol. I am in search of more solid black and white journals. Hoping to hit a couple of craft shops tonight.

Friend & Circles More Than Words Challenge

Hello Friends!

I know it has been a long while since my last post but, I really needed some time off. I lost my mojo for about a year and I hadn't realized that it had even been so long. I just hope you are all doing well and in good spirits.

More Than Words Challenge

This months Challenge is Friends & Circles. Pretty easy to and with my New Prima You&Me Collection stash I managed to put this together in a day. I used the Bubble stencil with Heavy Gesso, a little Lindy's Flat Fabio and Tattered Angels Mist for depth and Prima Dies as accents. The vine is what I like the most. It is from Prima but, the flowers that were attached just didn't suit my page so, I removed them and added New Prima Flowers.

Here is a Wall Hanging I made for my room. I found this 15x15 Canvas for $2 and had to create something special with it. The photo was taken about 6 years ago at Carmel Beach California. 18 years ago on this day, I met the Love of My Life. It was Love At First Sight. I never believed in it till it happened to me. It is actually a funny story but, I wont bore you with the details, lol. Just know that we are still very happily married and no I'm not just saying it. Our Sponser is The East Wind was kind enough to give us images. With this weeks challenge having to use a die, I figured she would fit perfectly into the diecut I used. 

 The designer paper is from the Epiphany Collection as well as the Manifest Paper Flower & Clear Stamp. I pulled out the awesome INKSSENTIALS Reusable Craft Sheet and colored with my Copic Markers and put it all together with 

Candi Fix Foam Pads & Mono Multi Liquid Glue. The Spellbinders Die I used is not in the shop but, there is some of the New Thinlettes Dies. Let me tell you, They are awesome!

I hope your enjoying this beautiful weekend! I know I sure am! I had sometime to try out Lydia Evans video tutorial and I really had fun with it! I used a few Mini Magnolia's (Coming Soon) cutting and masking and coloring. It took me a minute to fugure it all out and this is what I came up with. Here is a list of the items used.

Fabulous Friday Inspiration

Hello There

It's time for another Fabulous Friday Inspiration at Loves Rubber Stamps Blog. This week it's a canvas for my Daughter Monique, who is collecting them, lol.

I pulled out  the INKSSENTIALS Reuseable Non Stick Craft Sheet and this wooden sentiment and began spraying it with Dylusions Ink Spray VIBRANT TURQUOISE. While it dried I added a thin coat of GESSO from Faber Castell to the canvas then went back to work on the wooden sentiment by adding a bit of  Frantage Embossing Kit to lighten it up a bit. Isn't it wierd how the color changes so drastically on different textures? 

I stenciled the entire canvas with a Prima Stencil with more GESSO from Faber Castell. They sprayed a couple of times using Dylusions Ink Spray VIBRANT TURQUOISE. I then glued my embellishments down with

BEST GLUE EVER.

Fabulous Friday Inspiration

Hello Again

I'm back to share a card I created using the  Prima Coffee Break Collection. The gorgeous image I worked around is Fall Willow Catching Leaves. Isn't she just beautiful? I really enjoy coloring her up not only in Fall but anytime of year. I colored her up with my Copic Markers and placed her on a White Prima Doily  that I layered over a brown. I used Coffee Break 6x6 paper pad because, there is some really gorgeous pages in this stack. The Cafe Mocha and Cappuccino Flowers are just perfect! I wish they would make them in every color.

I always use my favorite glue Mono Multi Liquid Glue from Tombow and Candi Fix Foam Pads for dimension. Best Glue Ever works great too!

Fabulous Friday Inspiration w/ Loves

Hey There All

I'm here to share with you a bit of Fabulous News. I will be Hosting Fabulous Fridays at Loves Rubber Stamps Blog! Isn't that Awesome! I am all over the place with my crafts, lol. One day I feel Girly and the next I feel Mixed Media. I hope you'll drop in to see what kind of mood I was in, lol. I'm really just hoping to get you inspired or motivated to create something Fabulous over the weekend.

I thought I would start off with a Tag, since you all know me for this. I pulled out the Fabulous Kate Doll With High Waist Dress from the Julie Nutting Collection. I dressed her up in the Prima Butterfly Collection and colored her up with my Copic Markers.  The adhesives I used  Mono Multi Liquid Glue & Candi Fix Foam Pads.

This week I wanted to remind everyone that we carry the gorgeous Julie Nutting Dolls so I used Doll With Swing Dress. I know that there are still quit a few of them that really need to be added to my collection soon, I hope! Have you seen the New Dolls yet? Super cute! 

I pulled out my INKSSENTIALS Reusable Craft Sheet to keep my work space clean while getting my fingers inked up. I stamped my image with 

Memento Ink Pad Tuxedo Black  always a perfect saturation. Then I colored her up with a combination of 

Copic Markers & Ranger Distress Markers. After creating my tags background I pulled out the EPIPHANY cling rubber stamps with the Memento Ink Pad Tuxedo Black and added some texture. The flowers are Prima and we do carry some Prima Flowers in the Loves Rubberstamps Store!

Having An Awesome Weekend I Hope!

I am exhausted and happy to be home. The Hubby was working outta town again and had the weekend off. His request was to simply get some rest, lol. I can totally understand.

I decided to sit and create something Mixed Media to keep myself busy while he napped. I really wanted to show the gorgeous Turquoise Spray from Dylusions. I promise I tried to keep it just the single color but, the black ink kept calling to me, lol. I do hope you like it and will Hop along with us!

So I went a little crazy with the Coffe Break Collection today, lol. I was so inspired to create a couple of tags to hang by my Coffee Pot. I think they are a little dark but, still worth hanging. I stamped and stenciled the tags then, misted with a touch of Lindy's Mists. I added a few flowers and one die cut flower to each and Voila! 

I stayed up so late trying to finish making all the cupcakes and parfaits and Boy am I tired. My eyes are so puffy. It will be worth it when all my kids see the goody table.
