Ugly Paper

Hi There Friends!

We have a fun one for you this week, lol. I had the hardest time figuring out what the heck to do with this paper. I have a 12x12 stack and Ugh, I do not like it at all. It is an older stack from K&Company Called Lucky Flowers. So of coarse, it is perfect for this weeks challenge, lol.

Sensational Sunday Blog Hop

Hello There Friends.

Here we are enjoying another beautiful day here in sunny California. I am so loving the weather. Perfect for the lake, lol. I know my kids are going to hate me when I tell them to get ready, hahahaha.

This week I decorated a couple of Mentos containers and I think they look really cute. I found a 6x6 paper pad from jillibean soup that matched perfectly with the containers. I also cut strips of glitter gold tape and made boarders on top and bottom. I stamped the tickets from C.C. Designs Sweet Treats rubber set and you can find it in the Loves Store in the link below. I sprayed a little Tatter Angels, Shade for a worn look. What do you think?

Mar.IARDC Glimmer Mist Caddie

Hello Everyone!

So excited that you could stop by and visit! Thank you and I hope you like the Caddie I made for my Glimmer Mists. I had them all stuffed in a drawer and I was really wanting to keep them some place handy. What better than their own box.. I have to admit that some of the bottles had to be left in the drawer because, I use some more than others, lol.

I started this box awhile back but had to wait for my order, from I am roses, to arrive and now it is complete. For this, I used S3-00 Cherry Blossoms, S10-2 Small Pale Pink and R8-00. I Love the dimension the flowers give to my projects. I added plenty of Gesso over the entire caddie and sprayed some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. The colors are Woven Burlap and Rouge. Swirly Doo's Kit Club Layout

Hey There Friends!

I am here to share with you a Layout I have created with my 1st Swirly Doo's Kit. I was a bit hesitant to join but after seeing what Angelica creates, it was hard to pass up. It had Designer Paper from the New Stationer's Desk Collection from Prima and it is now my favorite line. I decided to put my own flowers together rather than run out to buy them. There are Prima flowers that I put together and added Distress Ink to the centers. I also added a pearl and Gold Stickles.

Well, what do you think? I am working on a card. I will post it as soon as I'm done.

Hello There Friends!

How is it going? I am doing well and so is the Hubby. I would like to Thank You All for the well wishes. He is so ready to play ball again, lol. If I didn't wear the pants in this house I'm sure he would already be on the field. He has been using his arm with fishing and I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not. I trying not to be to hard on him. He is a really big outdoors man and keeping him trapped at home isn't good for his health. How I love this Man of mine...

Ice Cream!

Hey There Friends!

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I am. We went to watch the movie 300 in 3D on Friday and it was really good. Yesterday I spent the day at the lake with the Hubby and 4 of our kids. The weather was beautiful and I got some much needed sun on my skin. Today I'm hoping to get some crafting in but, we'll see how that goes, lol.

A Little Texas Twist

Hello There Friends!

How are you doing this Beautiful Day? I am doing pretty good. Just trying to stay healthy. I took my Hubby to the Hospital on Sunday and turns out he has Shingles. He was stressing about an operation to remove some hardware he had in his arm and once it was over he broke out in rash and a numb feeling in his side. He has always been such a worry wart. Now I have never had Chicken Pox and I am deathly afraid to get them, lol. Old people can't recover as easily as a child, hehehe.
