Layers for SSSS

Hello My Fellow Bloggers.
How is everyone this week? Enjoying the warm summer sun? Or baking in it like me, lol? It is 110 degrees outside in Sunny California. Unhealthy air quality keeps me inside. I would rather not end up with asthma.
So, This weeks challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show is Layers. I figure I could throw a few layers together for a fun card. This is what I came up with. I did manage to make an envelope for this card to which I was very excited about. It really makes me feel like I finished a card when the envelope matches.
Well as for the layers, I cut and embossed with a Spellbinders die on cream cardstock. Then with the same die, I traced the outline. Then cut it out to make a closer border with kraft cardstock. On top of the die cut I added my image. The DP used is from Heidi Swapp which I layered over cream cardstock and then over my kraft base. Lastly, I layered the gorgeous flower  and distressed with a yellow Dew Drop.
I really enjoyed my day away from the sun, lol. Thank You for dropping by and for leaving a comment.
