Hey There Friends!

How is Everyone this fine evening? I am doing very well today. Happy and content with life for the moment, lol. I was sitting at my desk and realized that I hadn't joined in any of the Simon Says Challenges and jumped right on it. So, here is what I put together. Kinda loud for me as I am a simpleton, hahaha. The challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show is "Project With A Heart". I added many hearts as you can plainly see. I was very excited to finally be able to use that Memory Box Die that I bought months ago. 

I also made this card with Simon Says Stamp Challenge in mind. The Challenge there is "Anything Goes". I always Love to join in that challenge because it gives me a chance to use any companies image I chose, lol. I went with a Magnolia image and I think she turned out okay. It's very Valentine-ish don't you think?

Is This considered clean and simple or does the distress kick it out of that category? This is one of the November release images from C.C. Designs. She is such a cutie with her gift behind her back. I tried to make the red on her dress pop.

Kraft and Red Stuck In My Head

Hey There Friends!

I am here to share a bit of news with all of you. I have been selected, along with 4 other Fabulous Designers to be Guest Designers over at Loves Rubber Stamps! How Cool is that? You should really drop in and join in the fun, if not to check out all the Fabulous DT's Inspiration.

Today I made a card for Loves Challenge and it is to use Kraft and one other color. Pretty simple right? I went with Red. I love that color combo in my wardrobe. It always makes me feel pretty and seeing how I don't own anything in those colors right now and haven't in a while, lol. Yeah you know what I was getting to, hahaha.

WOYWW #181

There isn't much on my desk today as I finished a couple of projects yesterday and I already put everything away. I am waiting for a couple of new images in to have something to make but, that won't be here til Friday.

So are we all set for tomorrow? I went out and bought the vegetables for the stuffing and some baked goods. I am not looking forward to getting up at 3 a.m to put the Turkey in the oven. I have to have everything done early so that we can go out and visit my SIL. I am hoping to get done pretty quickly there because here in California the Black Friday Sales start on Thursday night at 8. How cool is that? I don't have much to spend but, I like to see what everyone is all goo goo about.

 We didn't have a Christmas for my kids last year, it was so sad. Thieves busted out my patio door at my old place and took everything. I had to move because, I no longer felt safe there. All that mattered was that we had a roof over our heads and heating, lol. This year will be different, I hope. Well, I have to get through Thanksgiving before I can worry about all that.

Hello There Everyone!

How are you doing this week? I'm doing okay. Just gearing up for the Holiday. Tomorrow is Thanks Giving and I'm still not sure what we will be doing. We had plenty of invites but, my son wants Mama's food, lol. My Brother dropped off a Turkey for us on Sunday. So, I know I will be making my own but, as far as going out, I don't know.

Well, here is an image from this months release titled, Siblings. I thought this was to adorable. I have photos with my brother just like this. Brings back memories of when I was a little girl.

Fairy Kisses

Hey There All!

Here I am with another card for the Anyone for Anya DT post. I am sharing a card with the images I purchased from Pam @ Expressions With A Heart. I adore these cuties! I wanted to add all of them but, maybe next time. My Daughter Sadie has an upcoming Birthday and thought I would make her a few cards this year. I know she'll Love it.

I die cut the border and rubbed some glue on it, then sprinkled some glitter on it.I pulled out my C.C. Cutter and used it on felt to make my center flower. I used a Doo Hicky Die for the two side flowers and then threaded threw them. I saw the idea on Eva's Blog. It just adds that certain something and I like it.

This week at AFA it's sketch time again. I do hope you will come and play along with us.

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 180

Hello All.

How is your day going so far? Getting all your projects done for all the exciting challenges out there? Here is another place to hang just in case you haven't heard, Stamping- GroundWell, I was trying out something different for the SSSS and I totally Bombed, ggrrrr..... I don't know the first thing about Distress ink or Dabbers or Alcohol Inks but I do have it in my stash. I try time and time again to get a finished project out of them but, always fail. Some people have it and some don't. The only thing I know how to use is my Copics, lol. I am running out of fast. 

Okay, enough about my troubles. I do hope you all enjoy the rest of your week and Happy Hopping.

Anything But A Card

Hello There Everyone!

How are you this week? I am doing so much better. I was really stressing out on my health. A trip to the Doctor had revealed a few problems. I am glad to say that my Mammogram came back Negative, "Thank you Lord"! I had some Polyps removed from my stomach but the Specialist couldn't determine what the large soars were, Hhmmmm.....  So, Yeah I was really stressing out.

I finished my project in due time. I thought this little Monkey was just the cutest ever and figured he needed an animal print back ground. I made a little gift bag. What do you think?

Love Thanksgiving

Hey there friends! I want to share a card I made for Loves Rubber Stamps Challenge and Simon Says Stamp Challenge.

 It's all about the holiday! 

I woke up this mourning and hurried over to my computer to find out what this weeks Challenge would be. I got right on it. It only took me most of the day but, I'm done. 3D is so time consuming. I hope you can tell that it is 3D because I didn't take a side view and it's in the mail, lol.

I used my trusty C.C. Designs images and my Nesties. 

I have to get this in and I hope you like it.

Mythical Creatures and Mushrooms?

Hey there all!

I finally finished my card. I only took me all week, lol. I would do a little here, a little there and now we are done. I just hope I'm not too late. I used the 3D technique on a lot of this card. Not rally sure if you can see it so, I will add a side view.

Better? I hope so. I just got this adorable image the other day from Pam. I am happy to say that she was at the top of my wish list forever and now she is mine, lol.

Travel Wipe Case

Here I have *Anything But A Card* which is the challenge at All That Scraps this time around. I made a Wipe Case for my Daughter since she is pregnant with her second Girl. The image is fitting don't you think? I am in Love with the cuteness of it all. I could not get a good shot of the brown on the box. I looks kinda Black ):

Fab New Blog!

Hey there friends.

I was asked a while back to check out a New Challenge blog in a comment and I forgot all about it. I was so bored with nothing to do so, I remembered the comment. I found it and hopped over to see what the fuss was about. The site is Loves Rubber Stamps Challenge. You can use their in house images and if you don't own any, your free to use what you do. I really like to have that option. The prize does increase if you do use their images so, that's something to think about, lol.

Well, this weeks challenge is a Pinterest Image Inspiration and it is gorgeous. I used an ancient GF image and tried to match up the papers with the color scheme in the photo.
