Hello My Friends!

Here is My last post for 2012 on Anyone For Anya. It is a simple bookmark but I was happy to make it. My Daughter is always reading so I gave it to her. I really hope the inks don't transfer to her pages, lol. I started reading these books to see what all the fuss was about and OMG! I won't give anything away though, lol.

Hello Friends!

I do hope you had a wonderful Holiday with all your Loved ones. I can't complain. I got to spend time with Family that I don't see very often and there were no arguments, lol. I must have been really rapped up in whatever that, I forgot to post and with this being my last week of GDT. I just didn't want it to end, lol.

2012 is over....

Hello Friends!

Another year has come and passed so quickly. When you are a child you anxiously await your next Birthday because, you can't get older quickly enough, lol. Then you pass 21, then 22 and then the years just roll by. I guess it's just what you make of it.

Well, any how, here is the last card of 2012 from me. I do hope you had a Wonderful Christmas spent with Loved ones and plenty of food.

I have a simple yet attractive card to share with you today. Wait did I just say that out loud, lol. I really enjoy these New additions to the C.C Designs collection. I'm just not to thrilled about her orange cheeks. My Copics are starting to dry out or should I say run out of ink. I so need to restock my supply for Christmas. Fingers crossed, lol.

Christmas is Nearing

Hello Friends and Followers!

Here we are with my 3rd week of Guest Designer at Loves Rubber Stamps Challenge. I am having such a great time here, meeting new people and making new friends. Laura really keeps the fun going around here. Have you stopped by the Sensational Sunday Inspirations + Blog Candy Give Away? This Blog Candy is given out every Sunday, WOW! Right! That's not the half of it. Laura has so many awesome images in her store, it is like a one stop shop every time for me. She continues to add new items almost daily. You should seriously Check It Out. Loves Rubber Stamps got my order out to me within a week, which was awesome! You know how we all anxiously await our new supplies, lol.

Well, This weeks Challenge is Christmas Projects. I went with New C.C. Designs Swiss Pixie Santa Lula. I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored her up with Copics. After paper piecing her hat, boots and dress I used a snow maker on her trim, then a little stickles and Voila. All of this on Spellbinder Nestabilities Labels Eighteen which was distressed with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Shabby Shutters. Lastly the paper is from a mat stack I bought when I first started crafting a few years back so, the name I can't remember, lol. The lace is a random trim I found in a discount mall here in town.

Paris!

Hey Everyone!

Here is one of this months New Images from All That Scraps called * New Lil Lolita French Lilith*. She is so amazing to work with. I used this My Minds Eye Designer Paper for her which meshed well, I think. I also used a Martha Stewart Border Punch to finish it off. Pretty simple if you ask me.

I can't believe that the year is almost over. We still haven't had a chance to do any Christmas shopping. I really don't want to be a last minute shopper standing in the long lines but, now I have no choice. This Friday I go in for another procedure so, I'm back on my liquid diet, ugh. That's when your body wants everything that is bad for you, lol.

Here I am with my second week of Guest Designer for Loves Challenge. I love that there are so many different companies images in the store.  You can use almost any image on your cards or projects. So sorry I forget to finish my post sometimes and that has to be the only bad thing about working ahead. I fell in love with this photo challenge. Isn't the photo just gorgeous? I have these Christmas ornaments stamps from Verve and they are so much fun to work with. I thought they meshed well with the My Mind's Eye DP. 

Well, I noticed a big drop in participation over at Anyone For Anya and I'm surprised. They give out some really great prizes. It does better your chances of winning the less contestants there is, just saying. I do hope you will head over and join in the challenges.

It's a brand new week and that means a brand new challenge at All That Scraps Wednesdays Challenge. This time around we would like to see your CAS projects. This is as simple as I could get, lol. This gorgeous  Lolita image will be found here upon her release. I colored her to the best of my ability and I feel like she deserves better. 2 of my daughters are really into Mexican Folk dance other wise know as Folklorico. You know what I'm talking about right? Just think, Really Big Dresses. I love how passionate they are about it. So, this image was one they would both enjoy. I can't wait to see what you all come up with for this Beauty.

Exciting News!

Hey There Friends!

Guess What! Never mind. I'll just tell you. I have been asked to be 1 of the Guest Designers at Loves Rubber Stamps Challenge for the month of  December. How Awesome is that? I was so excited to find the invite in my inbox that I rushed out and picked up a few things to spruce up my cards, lol. Then decided I would keep this one clean and simple. 

Today I used an image from Whimsy Stamps and you can find it here. She is called Dandelion Girl, pretty easy to remember, lol. I used some 3D magic on here and I love how awesome she turned out. The DP I used is My Mind's Eye. The border punch is Martha Stewart and the flowers are Prima and Recollections. I used my Copics to color her up.

 

Here is a side view to get a better feel of the 3D.

My Heart Is Yours

Hey There Friends!

How is Everyone this fine evening? I am doing very well today. Happy and content with life for the moment, lol. I was sitting at my desk and realized that I hadn't joined in any of the Simon Says Challenges and jumped right on it. So, here is what I put together. Kinda loud for me as I am a simpleton, hahaha. The challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show is "Project With A Heart". I added many hearts as you can plainly see. I was very excited to finally be able to use that Memory Box Die that I bought months ago. 

I also made this card with Simon Says Stamp Challenge in mind. The Challenge there is "Anything Goes". I always Love to join in that challenge because it gives me a chance to use any companies image I chose, lol. I went with a Magnolia image and I think she turned out okay. It's very Valentine-ish don't you think?

Kraft and Red Stuck In My Head

I am here to share a bit of news with all of you. I have been selected, along with 4 other Fabulous Designers to be Guest Designers over at Loves Rubber Stamps! How Cool is that? You should really drop in and join in the fun, if not to check out all the Fabulous DT's Inspiration.

Today I made a card for Loves Challenge and it is to use Kraft and one other color. Pretty simple right? I went with Red. I love that color combo in my wardrobe. It always makes me feel pretty and seeing how I don't own anything in those colors right now and haven't in a while, lol. Yeah you know what I was getting to, hahaha.

WOYWW #181

There isn't much on my desk today as I finished a couple of projects yesterday and I already put everything away. I am waiting for a couple of new images in to have something to make but, that won't be here til Friday.

So are we all set for tomorrow? I went out and bought the vegetables for the stuffing and some baked goods. I am not looking forward to getting up at 3 a.m to put the Turkey in the oven. I have to have everything done early so that we can go out and visit my SIL. I am hoping to get done pretty quickly there because here in California the Black Friday Sales start on Thursday night at 8. How cool is that? I don't have much to spend but, I like to see what everyone is all goo goo about.

 We didn't have a Christmas for my kids last year, it was so sad. Thieves busted out my patio door at my old place and took everything. I had to move because, I no longer felt safe there. All that mattered was that we had a roof over our heads and heating, lol. This year will be different, I hope. Well, I have to get through Thanksgiving before I can worry about all that.

Hello There Everyone!

How are you doing this week? I'm doing okay. Just gearing up for the Holiday. Tomorrow is Thanks Giving and I'm still not sure what we will be doing. We had plenty of invites but, my son wants Mama's food, lol. My Brother dropped off a Turkey for us on Sunday. So, I know I will be making my own but, as far as going out, I don't know.

Well, here is an image from this months release titled, Siblings. I thought this was to adorable. I have photos with my brother just like this. Brings back memories of when I was a little girl.

Fairy Kisses

Hey There All!

Here I am with another card for the Anyone for Anya DT post. I am sharing a card with the images I purchased from Pam @ Expressions With A Heart. I adore these cuties! I wanted to add all of them but, maybe next time. My Daughter Sadie has an upcoming Birthday and thought I would make her a few cards this year. I know she'll Love it.

I die cut the border and rubbed some glue on it, then sprinkled some glitter on it.I pulled out my C.C. Cutter and used it on felt to make my center flower. I used a Doo Hicky Die for the two side flowers and then threaded threw them. I saw the idea on Eva's Blog. It just adds that certain something and I like it.

This week at AFA it's sketch time again. I do hope you will come and play along with us.

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 180

Hello All.

How is your day going so far? Getting all your projects done for all the exciting challenges out there? Here is another place to hang just in case you haven't heard, Stamping- GroundWell, I was trying out something different for the SSSS and I totally Bombed, ggrrrr..... I don't know the first thing about Distress ink or Dabbers or Alcohol Inks but I do have it in my stash. I try time and time again to get a finished project out of them but, always fail. Some people have it and some don't. The only thing I know how to use is my Copics, lol. I am running out of fast.

Anything But A Card

Hello There Everyone!

How are you this week? I am doing so much better. I was really stressing out on my health. A trip to the Doctor had revealed a few problems. I am glad to say that my Mammogram came back Negative, "Thank you Lord"! I had some Polyps removed from my stomach but the Specialist couldn't determine what the large soars were, Hhmmmm.....  So, Yeah I was really stressing out.

I finished my project in due time. I thought this little Monkey was just the cutest ever and figured he needed an animal print back ground. I made a little gift bag. What do you think?

 It's all about the holiday! 

I woke up this mourning and hurried over to my computer to find out what this weeks Challenge would be. I got right on it. It only took me most of the day but, I'm done. 3D is so time consuming. I hope you can tell that it is 3D because I didn't take a side view and it's in the mail, lol.

Hey there all!

I finally finished my card. I only took me all week, lol. I would do a little here, a little there and now we are done. I just hope I'm not too late. I used the 3D technique on a lot of this card. Not rally sure if you can see it so, I will add a side view.

Better? I hope so. I just got this adorable image the other day from Pam. I am happy to say that she was at the top of my wish list forever and now she is mine, lol.

Fab New Blog!

Hey there friends.

I was asked a while back to check out a New Challenge blog in a comment and I forgot all about it. I was so bored with nothing to do so, I remembered the comment. I found it and hopped over to see what the fuss was about. The site is Loves Rubber Stamps Challenge. You can use their in house images and if you don't own any, your free to use what you do. I really like to have that option. The prize does increase if you do use their images so, that's something to think about, lol.

Well, this weeks challenge is a Pinterest Image Inspiration and it is gorgeous. I used an ancient GF image and tried to match up the papers with the color scheme in the photo.

It is wee#5 of  Viva La Verve Challenge.I am so excited to share with you the card I made. I used my Favorite floral image from the Great Friend set at Verve Stamps. The sentiment is also from Verve, Thoughtful Florals set. I embossed with Spellbinders Impressabilities Florals, then I distressed with Ranger Distress Inks. After all that, I sprayed some Martha Stewart Glitter all over my card.

Okay... Just One More

Hey There

If you stopped by yesterday, you know that I had put a 3rd card in for the WCMD2012. Well, I thought it would be my last entry as tonight is the deadline. I managed to make just one more. I have used The Sweet Treats Set from Verve. I added a lot of stickles that don't show, lol. I embossed 7 lines and lightly stickled them in Silver. What do you think? I really enjoyed this Challenge or can you tell, hehehe.. I managed to keep myself busy with it.

What's On Your Work Desk?

Happy Holidays

Hello There My Peeps!

How are you doing this fine Monday mourning? I am Loving the weather. It smells great outside and no more scorching sun rays, lol. With that being said, I have decided to make a Christmas card with snowflakes all over it. 

I pulled out a Martha Stewart paper pad from last year and Verves Ornamental Christmas set and went to work. I actually added a whole lot of stickles but, there is no sun light to make it bling. I broke off the backs of these buttons and stacked them to make a cute embellishment.

This is what I was inspired to do with it.

I used the Thoughtful Florals Set from Verve. I loved the way it turned out but, I couldn't get a good photo due to bad weather. We finally got a bit of rain here in California, Thank the lord. Itried very hard to get it just right but, no such luck. I was too tired, lol. I used the Great Friend stamp set from Verve and some diamond stickles to make the flowers pop. I also added some pearls to the centers. I

Hello There! How are you this fine Sunday afternoon? I doing okay, still kickin', lol. 

I have a card to share with you. I made it for week one at Viva La Verve. This is my first time with this challenge so, I hope I do well. There is five sketches this month and a shot at $100. to spend anyway you like at the Verve Shop. Isn't that just amazing? How I would Love to be the recipient of that Voucher, hehehe!

Well, I used The Sweet Treats Set for the sentiment and the oval in the center of the Nesties cut. The flowers are from The Because of You Set. I know it is pretty simple but I like the turn out.

Christmas is Coming!

Hey There Friends!

We are kicking off a New Challenge over at All That Scraps. "Anything But Cards"!

I was motivated by this challenge to make a Mini Note Book. Seeing That Christmas is right around the corner, I used the *New* Santa Lula as my main Image. Isn't she just the sweetest thing? I swear, Christine designs the Cutest darn images! I am the biggest Swiss Pixie fan ever. I tried to stay in this season with the flower. I just added a bit of stickles and Voila!

So, I think I know what to make for each of them, lol. Bella hasn't been by to see it either. I think I might as well get started on hers, hehehe.
